Penguins Unlimited exclusive Firewall management service allows you to create any type of Packet Filtering policy you wish for your server.
Our Firewall computers are located between your servers and your backbone network. These Machines have full packet filtering capability and can filter on any protocol or IP address.

Firewalls add a crucial safety element between your hardware and unwanted elements, and reduce the risk your server would be compromised.

Includes "up to 100 policy lines", and "one" route on our border router.

A Policy Line is a request by you to implement a particular type of filter. For example, a single Policy Line would be a request to block ICMP on IP 18.xxx.xxx.xx. You may request as many Policy Lines as you wish.

An effective policy will be unique to each server. Penguins Unlimited is prepared at this time to provide you with up to 1 hour of initial technical advice on what your policy should contain.

Since we only provide one border-router route statement per firewall, you may need to "renumber into your own block" if you are using IP-based virtual hosting. This means you will need to get your own subnet of 16, 64, or 256 IP numbers, and reconfigure your server to use these IPs.
